What is Enterprise Supplier Development (ESD)?
Enterprise development involves investing time, knowledge and capital to help Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) grow from survivalist or micro level to a level of sustainability and profitability and contribute to the local economy.
What We Offer
At Structured Capital, we help companies to achieve their enterprise development outcomes, and these include:
- steering the economy towards a stable environment that nurtures growth and increases the country’s economic competitiveness
- fostering a synergistic relationship between private and public sector to embrace social investment as a common vision
- fostering an entrepreneurship culture amongst the previously disadvantaged
SMEs often face challenges when a customer places a large order that in turn requires a substantial upfront cash input by the SME in order to deliver on this order. We step in and provide the required capital in order for the SME to buy or produce the required material and labour to fulfil the customer order.
In some cases, a business has made sales but has not been paid yet but requires working capital to pay for day-to-day expenses such as rent and salaries. We provide funding based on a percentage value of unpaid invoices.
